Guitar Lessons: If you want results, I am your guy. My job is to help aspiring musicians play things they never thought they could perform. Simply put, I take great pride in the fact that I coach winners! In the past few weeks, I’ve been reminded of what can be done with the proverbial tools, time and talent: the right guitar lesson coaching combined with hard work and persistence on the part of the guitar students I work with. This fall, several of my guitar students have achieved new musical heights:

1) Grammy Winner Michael Keith (Peaches n Cream) will now be playing acoustic guitar on select 112 tour dates. The new 112 album is receiving rave reviews and “Dangerous Games’ is all over the R&B charts and radio.

2) Long time student and ace guitarist Patrick V’s band “Ivy Road” recently won the Battle of the Bands at Terminal West.

3) Kim Joyce won the BMI Acoustic Showdown session in November and is on to the December Finals

4) Highly original Avante Garde singer/guitarist Richard Leto competed in the BMI/Acoustic Showdown this week. It was his first live performance other than open mic nights!

Over the years, numerous students have gone on to gain acceptance to G.I.T., Berkeley School of Music, A.I.M. and Middle Tennessee State University. Others are in successful touring bands. Celeb clients include Justin Guarini (American Idol) Michelle DeShon (Satisfaction) and Grammy Winner Vashawn Mitchell.

A salute to all those who put in the elbow grease and made their musical goals a reality!
If I can help them, I can help YOU. Together, we’ll give you the toolbox you need to play well, and then get your project out of the basement and onto the stage!
